What We Do
Psychological Assessment
Psychological assessment can help answer questions about how people think, learn, feel, and behave.
Every assessment begins with a clinical interview, which may include your family members and can include a combination of psychometric testing and further interviewing/observation where necessary.
You or another one of your treating health professionals may have questions about:
The way you think, solve problems, remember things and the specific way you that you can learn the best (cognitive and further neuropsychological assessment)
Your academic skills and achievement, what you do well and where to support you to ensure you reach your potential (Educational and school readiness assessment)
How you plan, organise, and manage your daily responsibilities, referred to as executive functioning.
How you function in day-to-day tasks, and where you might need support (adaptive behaviour).
How your personality or behaviour may be impacting on you and those around you
Whether you might be neurodivergent, including Autism or ADHD.
Whether your development is consistent with others your age (infant developmental assessment)
